What we offer: 8K salary for two months. The installation of an OpenThread sensor network in an experimental agricultural field is required, followed by data collection and the drafting of a report on the testing procedure. Sensor measurements must be compared with high-precision sensors provided on-site, and sensor calibration must be carried out. Additionally, the mechanical resistance of the sensor housing structure must be evaluated. The ability to travel between different locations and fields in Italy is necessary. What we offer: 5K salary for a 1 month. Analysis of the energy consumption of OpenThread sensor networks for agricultural use. The study should use systems based on Hall effect sensors and other direct and indirect methods to measure the energy consumption of the border router and individual OpenThread sensors. Additionally, the study should analyze the impact on energy consumption as hardware and software parameters vary, and identify strategies to minimize the overall energy impact of the network.
